The Adventures of the
Society for Creative Procrastination
Across America

Since the founding of the Society for Creative Procrastination in October of 1997, we have been sowing the seeds of socially responsible creative mischief throughout the Northeastern United States.

Recently, we were informed that there are many like-minded individuals languishing in a region of the country purportedly called the "West Coast", whose help and co-operation would be greatly valuable to us in the furtherance of our goals.

Skeptical as we were about the existence of this so-called "West Coast" region, we were undaunted in our relentless pursuit of creative procrastination, and so we resolved to go look for ourselves, to see if this mythical land might actually exist.

The pages you have before you today represent the chronicle of our long journey across the vasty plains of the North American interior. You can trace our path across the nation (precisely computed with the assistance of U.S. Department of Defense satellites) on the map below. Along the way, see pictures and read notes about the many things we have encountered.

To our shock and surprise, the lands separating our New England home from the fabled "West Coast" seem to be occupied by a curious territory known only as the "Great Midwest". This is a peculiar, flat country, inhabited by a people with a curious predilection toward growing large fields of wheat and corn. Still further west, over the mighty mountains of the Continental Divide, the land changes into a weird, almost alien desert, from which only the bravest of adventurers return.
