Bishop Door

Fall 1996
Although this event happened three years before the SCP was founded, it merits inclusion. Each year the West Quad North cluster at Phillips Academy Andover has a dorm door decoration contest. Now my senior year I happened to have (and still do!) two 500 watt outdoor flood lights... and we had a bunch of soda cans lying around. You really have to try it to understand the full difficulties of doing this durring a New England winter--the masking tape has to be heated with a blow dryer with care, the soda cans washed, rinsed, and dried, and then assembled into long strips for attachment--it took quite a while...
